About
iMed™ TeleHealth allows healthcare providers to use a smart phone, tablet, or computer screen to interact with patients. A telehealth session is a more efficient use of time for both the patient and the physician’s office staff.
A push notification will remind the patient of the scheduled telehealth session. The session is initiated by the patient touching the start button on the screen. The office staff can activate a Consent form, when needed, for the patient to sign on the screen.
The healthcare provider can document directly into the office EMR, or use the Note button on the provider screen. This Note information can then be transmitted to the office staff for billing. The office staff can include the Note information into the patient’s medical record.
After the Telehealth sessions ends, the App sends a “thank you” to the patient for participating in the session. There is also a four question survey sent to the patient. This survey will help each medical practice improve their Quality Assurance.
